Meas Soksophea is a Cambodian pop singer and actress. She was born in 1984 in Kampong Speu Province. After her father died she and her brother sang at weddings to help support the family, and in 2002 she moved to Phnom Penh, where she sang in restaurants and entertainment venues before building her career.
Her 2008 single "1000 Nights" is one of her best-known songs, and she was named Best Female Artist of the Year at the 2017 NRG Music Awards. Her music is mainly pop, with touches of R&B and rock.
