Keo Sarath (born Tek Chhom, 1956–1991) was one of the most popular Khmer singers of the generation that rebuilt Cambodian pop music after the Khmer Rouge years. He was born in Battambang Province and began singing in the Khao-I-Dang refugee camp on the Thai border before settling in the United States.
His songs are often sad and nostalgic, about love for Cambodia and the lives of ordinary people, and fans nicknamed him the "Tiger Jaw Emperor". He died in Long Beach, California, in 1991, aged 35.
